Beginner - Introduction to Fly Tying
During a three week course students will learn techniques for tying flies such
as a woolly worm, woolly bugger, hairs ear nymph and more.
Classes are limited to eight students with two instructors – there will
be a lot of one on one instruction for everyone.
Course cost is $75.00
Students are responsible for supplying their own tying tools and materials
during the course. All tools and materials are available at SouthBow Fly &
Tackle. Courses are available on a first-come first-served basis and a complete
list of necessary tools and materials will be provided upon registration.

Intermediate Fly Tying
During a three week course students will learn techniques such as how to spin
deer hair, tie with rubber legs, foam and synthetics and much more. Patterns
learned include the Bow River Bugger, hopper patterns, stimulator patterns,
caddis patterns and various dry flies.
Classes are limited to eight students with two instructors – there will
be a lot of one on one instruction for everyone.
Course cost is $75.00

Watch for our weekly “Open Vise” night. First come first serve basis, bring your
vise as we will be tying everything from A to Z (Adams to Zulus). Tie with
experts, have some laughs and learn some killer patterns and techniques.
